Willy Wolf has been bringing the Oldtime Jam sessions to the coffee house for years. But they have recently moved it to 2pm every Tuesday. So if you know anyone who has a hankerin' for that type of music and that time of day works for them give them a heads up and have them head on down.
They also invite anyone of any experience or ability to sit in with them and learn a few or share a couple songs.
New Oven means awesome aromas
and tasty baked goods!
Our new oven is saving us time and making amazing baked sensations.
You better get in here and try some.

Every Second Friday of the Month the Knitters take over the Coffee House.
They start showing up at noon for lunch and start their meeting at 1pm.
They've been meeting here for over 10 years.
They would be happy to have other knitters join them.

Hidden Talent:
I am an artist. I love colors and creating things that express my emotions and abstract ideas. I want to design clothing, mainly dresses!
The thing that people would be most surprised about me:
I can't drink any beverage that is hot. By hot, I mean the regular temperature that we serve our drinks at. Way too hot for me.
What was your first (or one of your earliest) memories of the Red Rooster:
I used to come in here when I was in junior high school with my sister. The wall had not been torn down yet and the only thing I ever ordered was super nachos. I collected coffee mugs back then and in the window display sat a porcelain pregnant woman's torso mug. I wanted it so badly. Days were spent longingly looking at it. I asked if I could have it or buy it. No go. Then for Christmas that year, I came in and Dan said "I got something for you" For some reason I had no idea what the gift would be. There it was, the gleaming mug. Best mug ever!

Dr. Bill's hat from a friend in the Ukraine (hammer and sickle symbol and all...) is the latest in a series of cool hats on Regular coffee hounds at the Rooster. Who will be next? By the way, Bill has a few things posted for sale on our bulletin board. A 35 mm film camera: old school, not digital, and a 4 bedroom 3 bath house. If your interested come check out the posters.
